Time to Talk About the Economy and Art

Hey Everyone,
So, there is high fuel costs and the stock market crashes and on and on. The economy is on the downswing, but it will come
back. I have 2 studios, but the one I really work in is a shed. Yes, a big shed behind my house in Florida. I stay here most of the
time instead of my Brooklyn space. Why? I want to be with my family as my kids grow up. It is time to see what is important right now.

That all aside:

I want to thank my clients who have been ordering paintings for the last 3 months. Wow. Thank you all. I am booked with orders
through October.

Paintings are ownership investments. As artists of original works, we never let our prices drop; we plateau and cover our clients during bad financial times.
The prices go up in good times and buyers do very well in second sales. I have plenty of clients who do second sales in good times, then they
reinvest in new art. My galleries do the same. I would never show with a gallery that deals below retail of investment art.

If you cancel travel or cancel the buying of depreciating goods due to the economy, please consider buying art from national and international
artists. Most of us have integrity and will keep you steady in your investment during bad times. Check out the artist you are investing in, and make
sure he or she is not selling out the clients. Poster artists are not going to help you. So buy great art that you love from great artists
in these bad times. No loss or depreciation in rare art.

Thank you all so much for making me one of the artists that you believe in.

New images from the Annapolis show coming this week.

Take care,
Bryce
